As a division of the North Dakota Insurance Department, protecting the public is our number one priority. Our role is to ensure buildings and products in the state meet fire safety standards and provide resources when fires occur. Along with investigating the origin of fires, we regulate fire prevention systems, building codes and combustibles. Learn more about what we do and our work to protect North Dakotans.
